Some of these marijuana-themed games require you to buy the game first, while others can be played without any additional equipment. For the board games and card games that require a purchase, we made sure to choose ones that are inexpensive.
Ganjaland
Get ready for a game full of good fun and good vibes. Ganjaland is Candyland for adult 420 lovers! It is sure to be a hit at your party and is also great for gifting fellow smokers
The game graphics are super dope (pun intended) and the more people you play with, the better it is. You are sure to pass out from laughter playing this fun game at your next smoke sesh!
How To Play
Each player pulls a card from the stack and moves their game character pieces according to the instructions. The first one to reach Bud Brick Castle is the winner!
Comedy Weed Game
Comedy Weed Game is a fun party game for 3 to 8 smokers and non-smokers. It includes a YO Cannabis Glossary so you can understand all the terms used by your 420 friends.
How To Play
The aim is to win the round by choosing the same answers as other like-minded players in the game. Players with the most rounds win.
Hold Your Smoke/ Ghost That Hit
Who’s ready to inhale, exhale, and prevail in the ultimate test of lung endurance? Hold Your Smoke is a wacky game to prove lung supremacy among smokers.
How To Play
Players sit in a circle and pass around a joint. The first person takes a puff and then passes it to the next one. You keep doing this, but there is a twist: you have to hold in that smoke until the joint comes back to you. If you accidentally exhale or cough, you are out for the next round.
Puff Puff Pass
Puff Puff Pass is a game made by stoners, for stoners, after interviewing other stoners! This game comes with 110 cards and players have the option of playing it in ten different game modes.
How To Play
Simply shuffle the cards, draw one, and follow the prompts. If you draw the ‘Puff’ card, you can take a puff. There are also some trivia cards, truth-or-dare cards, and debate cards where you get to argue your side of the story. Get ready for some serious laughs along the way! More instructions here.
Weed Jenga/Stack The Joints Game
Jenga blocks fans will love this game! It comes with 45 joint pieces and one leaf topper. It is great for two or more players.
How To Play
The game involves removing and stacking a joint on top of the tower. Players who topple the tower get eliminated.
WorldWise Imports Weed-Opoly The Game
The title of this game may suggest it is similar to Monopoly, but it is not. It is closer to Ganjaland and a lot of fun for people of all ages (even ones who don’t smoke).
How To Play
Start at start and end at ‘stoned’. You tractor through the farm to become the head weed-opolist while other players will try and slow you down.
Card Against Humanity Weed Pack
This is a delightful addition to the already hilarious game Cards Against Humanity. It has cleverly crafted cards and brilliant stoner humor.
How To Play
One player asks a question (printed on the black card) while other players can use their white cards to come up with funny answers.
Musical Marijuana/Musical Bong
This game is similar to “hot potato” which most of us have played as kids.
How To Play
Keep someone in charge of the music (which can be played on the radio or your phone). This person can even be blindfolded.
Pass the joint/bong/pipe around. When the music stops, the person holding the joint gets to take a bong rip.
You can also make the game go faster by letting everyone else rip the bong other than the one left holding the pipe when the music stops.
Bong Pong
This is a great game for college parties and adult game nights.
How To Play
Place half-filled cups (with water) on either side of the table in a bowling formation. Keep a joint/bong ready.
Opponents take turns tossing ping-pong balls into their opponent’s cups. If you successfully sink a ball in the cup, your opponent takes a hit. You can also use low-dose THC gummies or other edibles instead of a bong.
Never Have I Ever
You will need a lot of cannabis for this classic game, but by the time you are done, you will be too high to care!
Never Have I Ever is a fun way to learn surprising facts about your close friends and share amusing anecdotes. The game is also perfect for breaking the ice and creating laughter-filled memories.
How To Play
Make one player go first. He or she starts the game by saying ‘Never have I ever…’ followed by some activity/action. The players who have done the mentioned action or activity must confess to it by smoking the loaded joint.
Hot Box
Hot Box is a fun party game for 4-10 adults. It is quite similar to Cards Against Humanity, but a lot funnier. The dare cards add a great twist.
How To Play
Split the card deck into answers, questions, and dares. The ‘highest’ person can be the judge.
In each round, the judge asks a question from one of the question cards. The other players pick their funniest answer card to find the best match. The judge decides which the funniest answer is and that is the winner.
Do Or Smoke
As the name indicates, this is a Truth or Dare-type card game. Do or Smoke was made by stoners for stoners. It is perfect for get-togethers where you know you’ll be smoking or for gifting to a smoker pal.
How To Play
You pick a card and follow the instructions on it. For example, the card could read, ‘Call your parents and ask them if they ever got stoned (or take three hits)‘.
Some other examples include: ‘List 5 different names for marijuana in 15 seconds or take 2 hits’ or ‘what is the stupidest thing you have done when high-share with the group or take three hits’ etc. There are more than 250 cards, so you are bound to get high.
Marijuana Games: Final Thoughts
As you can probably imagine, this was another fun article to ‘research’! The challenging part was remembering that I was actually doing research and was supposed to be taking notes.
